Painted Tales

From your family to a finished storybook

How it works

Painted Tales turns the people your child loves most into the heroes of their own hand-painted bedtime stories. Here's how a book comes to life.

1. Add your characters

Describe the stars of your stories — your children, a baby sister, a grandparent, a pet, even a favourite toy. You give each one a name and a few details (hair, eyes, what they like to wear), and we lock that look in. From then on they stay perfectly on-model — the same face, the same colours — on every page of every story. Your characters are private to your family and no one else's.

2. Choose a story

Pick a gentle, time-tested tale and choose which of your characters should star in it. Classic bedtime stories and folktales, reimagined with your family inside them. Need a snowy coat or a summer outfit for a particular tale? Each story can dress your characters for the occasion without changing who they are.

3. We paint it

Every page is painted in soft, warm watercolour — never glossy or computery — and quietly checked for consistency as it goes, so the artwork feels like one cohesive picture book. When it's ready, the finished story lands in your family's private library, there for storytime whenever you need it.

Yours to keep
